For many years the County Center of Culture (GOK) is active in Mogilany. The variety of the offer directed to children, youth and adults makes the GOK always full of children and full of life. Among the stable forms of the centre’s activity are: musical workshops, theatre circle, arts and crafts, artistic weaving, musical and vocal groups, study of foreign language, computer room, chess circle, regional bands "Mogilanie” and the children’s ”Little Mogilanie”, the child song-dance group ”Kameleon”, modern dance, aerobics, table tennis, bridge, periodical concerts of the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra and meetings with authors of works of art which can be viewed in the gallery based in the GOK cafeteria. This variety of activities helps in reaching as large amount of children as possible, aiming to help activate the development of all possible talents they have, makes sensitive to beauty and motivates their activeness, awakens the need to actively take part in culture.
The County Library is also functioning by the GOK (inside the County Office building) with a branch in Konary.
