The county’s education politics is aiming to educate students to be open, self-reliant, and resourceful, with a wide range of basic education which will help find satisfactory employment in the future. There is one high school with an enonomy-administration profile in Gaj, two junior high schools in Mogilany and Gaj and seven elementary schools in Bukow, Gaj, Konary, Libertow, Lusina, Mogilany and Wlosan.
We also have an autonomical pre-school in Mogilany with a branch in Libertow. We have a very well schooled teacher personnel; the schools are well equipped, in computer hardware as well as study aides. The students study according to new programs, there is noticeable attention paid to foreign languages, especially English. The education level of our schools is the same as that of schools in Krakow. The county is realising a program of adding gymnasiums to schools – not long from now a new gymnasium in Libertow will be added to the ones in Gaj, Mogilany and Wlosan.
